Sudden
Sudden is probably the kindest most honest horse I have ever had the privilege of owning (next to Bessie my old mustang). She has the funniest personality and is easy to get along with. She got her nickname not because of her registered name but because while most young horses will be spooky and shy easily while you are riding them Sudden would plod along like an old horse and then before you knew it you were going in the opposite direction. No fuss, no prancing, no snorting or shying, nope just flat spin around and then continue the other way. 
One time I became unseated and she set off crow hopping at which point I thought yeah you are normal just a "little" weird (after I got seated of course). She cracks me up, when we first started showing and went to go lope in our first class she gave me a little buck (friends say she only gave a little bump up IF they could even see it) but I could sure feel it. In the western saddle its not a problem but in the English saddle it sometimes is enough to unseat me for a stride. She has earned a few PAC points in English and Western pleasure with very sporadic showing.
She is a character in the barn too, she takes things, moves things, escapes from the paddock some way or other and taught Kristy how to tip over the 100 gallon water tank. I believe she is the instigator in most "Bad Horses" instances but Kristy is usually the one that gets caught doing whatever it was that they weren't supposed to be doing. I swear she laughs when Kristy or Zippy get yelled at.
Jim adores her and is always the first to tell me that my horses (Kristy & Zippy) are being bad. I hate to tell him but Sudden started it ................
