"Maricita La Briosa"

Maricita La Briosa Maricita is a fun little Paso Fino. She has a funny personality and loves to harass Zee Zee and Sudden even though she is low horse on the pecking order. When I go to get her out of her paddock she will usually turn around and walk away then she suddenly turns around and pins her ears and walks back towards me. I tell her "Oooh aren't you a bad ass" as she stands there so sweet and innocent looking waiting for me to put her halter on. I love hugging on her as she is such a plush pony. She puts up with me fussing over her and I think has actually begun to like it a little.

Maricita is a bundle of energy, she is always ready to go. I attribute this to her show career prior to me getting her.  She has calmed down a lot by not being rushed, we take our time getting saddled, brushing, and riding. I am sure she will never be a deadhead but with time I think some of the energy will disappear. She has made leaps and bounds just in the few short months I have owned her. I love riding her, she is so well broke and listens wonderfully. She is a trailblazer when we go riding and has even ponied horses back to the house that were being bad.  I am thinking TeamPenning or cattle sorting maybe? Update April 2010: Maricita has gone to YKnot Ranch and will hopefully be finding a good home soon.
