I don't know about you but I dread software updates.  Microsoft updates are the scariest because while they say these updates are to improve stability, reliability and security I know the real truth. Something is going to break! Its funny how my computer will be running just fine until the little icon at the bottom of my screen starts flashing indicating a new update is available. I ignore it as long as I can but within a week or two my computer starts misbehaving so of course I HAVE to run the update. This last update broke my printer (boom drivers were gone) as well as two of my neighbors printers that I had to help fix. Then I realized it had also broke the scanning software of my network printer so I had to reinstall the software. Continue reading →
