This is my second saddle and I believe it is alot better than my first saddle.  I finally have the basket weave stamp down pat, now to just practice and practice.  I love a good basket weave on a saddle. The fenders are free swinging and adjustable. The saddle was made on a Rio Rondo saddle tree.  It was dyed a saddle tan and features silver conchos. Continue reading →

I finally got my first western saddle made.  I have had the supplies to make one for a couple of years but just never got around to making it. It turned out ok for a first try, I learned alot from my mistakes and I will practice some more before I make the next one. I really want to learn how to do leather carving but for now I would be happy doing a good basket weave pattern. Continue reading →
